The Neurosensory Unit employs audiologists and audiometrists. Audiologists hold post graduate university qualifications and are given extensive clinical training within our clinics . This makes them very qualified to help identify and treat your hearing problems. Help is offered using a range of technologies including hearing aids, cochlear implants, bone anchored hearing aids, and tinnitus management and retraining therapies. Our team works closely with our advisory medical specialists, all of whom are ear, nose and throat doctors.
All our clinical staff are members of their respective professional bodies and are required to undertake continuing professional education and to abide by the Code of Ethics of those bodies. Look for the letters MAudSA.CC after the audiologists name to ensure that you are consulting a qualified audiologist with a certificate of clinical competence. Our audiometrists are members of the Australian College of Audiometry and are skilled in a range of diagnostic tasks and in the assessment and fitting of hearing aids. They are all members of ACAud (MACAud).
